The Avalon Park Foundation is an organization dedicated to encouraging friends and neighbors to take part in positively influencing our community through service.

Rebecca Kaercher

Rebecca Kaercher is an Executive Coordinator and a long time resident of 12 years in Avalon Park.  She worked for Disney for 14 years and Sanford Burnham Medical Research Institute for 8 years as a Research Seminar Coordinator, and now works for Valencia College.  She has been in event planning for over 25 years and a volunteer for Avalon Park for the past 10 years. Rebecca volunteers for our community events as well as many other areas of Orlando and finds much joy in helping people and making a difference.   

Brian Jones

Vice President/Director - Grants Committee

Brian Jones was born in Ormond Beach, Florida and has been a Central Florida resident all his life.  Brian attended Winter Park High School and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology.  In 2007, he made Avalon Park his home.  As a Sales Manager for Charter Communications, Brian manages a team of Outside Sales Representatives that offer Spectrum Entertainment and Communication products for residential communities.  Brian is an active volunteer in the community managing the Neighborhood Watch program and holds the position of Fundraising Chair for the Avalon Park YMCA Board of Directors.  He and his wife, Erica, stay busy chasing their four children.  During rare downtime, he enjoys spending time with family and friends in the neighborhood. Most Sundays are dedicated to managing (and playing!) on his softball team, The Avalon Force, in the Avalon Park Softball League.

Shawna Lafont

Director

Shawna began her career in Real Estate as a transactions coordinator before acquiring her license in 2011. Since then, her business as a REALTOR® and passion for the industry has grown throughout Orlando and the surrounding areas.
 

In fact, she's been named 'Rookie of the Year' and awarded the Outstanding Sales Achievement Award. Today, she continues to bring a wealth of knowledge to her Real Estate clients through her hyper-local market expertise and individualized marketing and communications strategies. Shawna stays up to date on industry changes and challenges and is always watching the market to see how she can best serve her clients.

 

To her, Real Estate is about "helping people achieve one of the biggest and most important purchases of their lives," she explains. She believes helping people is her true calling and she enjoys assisting her clients with all aspects of their Real Estate journey. 

 

For both home buyers and sellers, Shawna treats her clients as if they are family and prides herself on offering the highest level of customer service. Whether she's helping coordinate repairs or staging their home, her main focus is to ensure her client's satisfaction and Real Estate needs are met. 

 

When asked why she chose to join ERA Grizzard Real Estate she replied, "I am looking for my Real Estate home. I love that I feel like ERA Grizzard will help me to build my business the way I want to build it and not the way they feel I should," explains Shawna.

 

When Shawna is not assisting clients, she feeds one of her other passions in life - coaching youth cheerleading. She has been coaching for over 20 years and still loves it as much as she did on the first day. Shawna also loves to volunteer and works to pursue it whenever she can.

Stephanie Lerret

Secretary

Stephanie Lerret is Vice President of Marketing for Avalon Park Group and has been with the company since the Fall of 2003. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Political Science and Anthropology. Stephanie handles the planning and production of the marketing and special events for Avalon Park Group owned entities.

Jennifer Campos

Director - Community Service

Jennifer Campos is the owner of Avalon All Star Cuts and Waterford All Star Cuts. She graduated from Clarion University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelors Degree in International Business and has an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. After working 13 years in the corporate world as Vice President of Sales & Marketing and then as a General Manager, she decided it was time to step down and own her own business and to use it as an instrument to positively impact the community. She is actively involved in her church as a leader. She has been an resident of Avalon Park for the past 8 years and she loves to work-live-play in her community.
